Bio about me

I'm a long time fan of video games and anime. I've been drawing sketches on notebook paper since my Freshman year, all revolving around my very own anime, currently titled "Battle of Fantasies" after my own imagination. Think of it as "Kingdom Hearts", except it revolves around Anime/Manga from the many decades that have passed by.

I was slow to start my new skill of drawing, but I developed into a master of drawing sketches. How good? A couple of my best Senior friends, who have graduated this year (2009), saw my drawings and heard my ideas only half-way through, and they said, "I think we've found our new DM."

To hear that my idea was "Dungeon Master"-worthy blew me out of the water, even though I have never played Dungeons & Dragons before. That meant a lot to me.

I joined deviantART to take my sketches and drawings from Battle of Fantasies to the internet, and also as a way to keep in touch with my Senior friends, one who's moving to Marquette.

I enjoy my Battle of Fantasies Anime a lot, as much of it is based on many Anime/Manga, including InuYasha, Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden, Legend of Zelda, and Tales of Symphonia. So far, I have planned for six (6) "Main Storylines" and at least five (5) or more "Link Storylines" (Stories between the Main Sorylines).

I'm attending the Hurley K-12 School (Have been since Pre-K), and I will be graduating in 2010. I'm a very respecting young man, accomplished academically and musically. I have been on the Highest and High Honor Rolls many times. Your Grade Point Average (GPA) has to be 3.5 to 3.89 for the High Honor Roll, and 3.9 to 4.0 (A perfect score) for the Highest. I've been participating in the Band Program since 5th Grade, and in Choir since 2nd (I was in the Hurley School Singers, an elementry choir). I involved myself with the Piano, having been playing since 2nd Grade, but that musical relationship has been coming and going over time.

As part of being in Band and Choir, I've participated in the WSMA (Wisconsin School Music Association) Solo & Ensemble events since Jr. High. I've accumilated many 1s and 2s, from both District and State Solo & Ensemble, over the years, and now I aim for an Exemplary Solo Award next year, at the request of my friend who received one for his magnificant performance at the State S&E competition in Oshkosh in April 2009. He wishes for me to "carry on the tradition".

I plan to go to the Gogibic Community College for a 2-Year Associate's Degree in Game Design before I go down to the Art Institute of Chicago for my Bachalor's Degree in the same field. I wish to become a Game Designer, and hope to one day bring my Battle of Fantasies to the virtual world.

Battle of Fantasies, as said before, is based on Anime/Manga (TV, Magazine, or even online Anime-based characters). The story is about a great battle of Good and Evil, Light and Darkness, etc., but I intend to cross some messages in the story. It's based on Friendship, Trust, Love, Forgiveness, Courage, Honor, among other things, and on top: Redemption (Which you'll see in my future Deviations). It also shows how the good emotions hold no bounds for other people, no matter the race, the time, the world, or even the anime (BoF is more like "All of the Above").

I love listening to music as I draw, particularly songs with meaning (Regardless of Genre, Year, or Artist). It helps my imagination create an image and helps me focus on that image.

Constructional critisism is allowed as long as it is not an intentional attack/insult to my Deviations or me.

One kid related one of my most emotional sketches to Child Molestation as a joke, right in front of my face! I demanded an apology from him for such an insult, because that so-called joke left a deep scar in me. You'll eventually see that sketch on this site.

I'm just here to show of my imagination, and therefore will not accept money for my work or buy any work.
